These content models were created to help government agencies easily publish content in multiple forms and on multiple platforms by a cross-agency working group sponsored by the General Service Administration’s \u003ca href=\"/preview/gsa/digitalgov.gov/snyk-fix-08ac0319715b31f28b1a7897cd249f39/about/\"\u003eDigital Services Innovation Center\u003c/a\u003e.\u003c/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003ca href=\"https://s3.amazonaws.com/digitalgov/_legacy-img/2014/05/2958-x-1407-Open-Content-Model-full-cropped.jpg\"\u003e\u003cdiv class=\"image\"\u003e\n  \u003cimg\n    src=\"https://s3.amazonaws.com/digitalgov/_legacy-img/2014/05/600-x-285-Open-Content-Model-full-cropped.jpg\"\n    alt=\"Open Content Model mural\"/\u003e\u003c/div\u003e\n\n\u003c/a\u003e\u003c/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe cross-agency working group created content models for “\u003ca href=\"http://gsa.github.io/Open-And-Structured-Content-Models/models/article-model.html\"\u003earticles\u003c/a\u003e” and “\u003ca href=\"http://gsa.github.io/Open-And-Structured-Content-Models/models/event-model.html\"\u003eevents\u003c/a\u003e“–two commonly used content types on government websites. They define a core set of metadata elements for these two content types that may be supplemented for agency-specific use.\u003c/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMore importantly, you can \u003ca href=\"http://gsa.github.io/Open-And-Structured-Content-Models/contribute.html\"\u003ecomment and submit pull requests\u003c/a\u003e to help us change these models.\u003c/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eWhat’s Next?\u003c/strong\u003e\u003c/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eJoin us Wednesday, May 14th for the first webinar in our series “What Structured Content Can Do For You,” which will focus on the \u003ca href=\"http://gsa.github.io/Open-And-Structured-Content-Models/models/article-model.html\"\u003eArticle Content Model\u003c/a\u003e. Members of the working group will explain:\u003c/p\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003ewhat structured content is,\u003c/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eshow you what structured content models can do for you,\u003c/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003ewalk you through the article model and show you how to use it.\u003c/li\u003e\n\u003c/ul\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn June, we’ll have a webinar that will highlight the Event Content Model.\u003c/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOver the coming months, the working group plans to:\u003c/p\u003e\n\u003col\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eCreate additional content models.
