U.S. Customs and Border Protection Launches New, Mobile Friendly Website
Who knew?
Thanks to a mobile-optimized and redesigned www.cbp.gov, now you can get all the latest CBP news, videos, photos, pest interceptions and more—30,000 pieces of content in all, so far—from any smartphone or tablet. The site now boasts an advanced search tool, better navigation and faster upload times for both domestic and international users. The agency says these upgrades were a direct response to requests from users.
CBP.gov is both easy on the eyes and on the mouse, with bold blocks of content to guide your way: You can get “Know Before You Go” international travel tips, apply for the Global Entry program to speed your way through Customs, and check border wait times right from the homepage, for starters. Scroll to down further on the main page and you’ll find an interactive map that helps you locate an official port of entry in your state.
So grab your smartphones, your tablets and your laptops and make a run to the CBP homepage before your next venture north, south, east or west of the border.Interested in implementing Responsive Design in your agency?
