Now, you may be wondering, “Does my agency fit in that category?” Two years ago, the Digital Government Strategy required agencies to start planning and implementing anytime, anywhere strategies.
In addition, mobile is a changing technology and the Digital Government Strategy created the Mobile Application Development Program to help agencies plan, develop, test and launch mobile products and services for the public.
The public expects to have access to government information anytime, anywhere. Government agencies can only meet this growing demand if they have a mobile technology strategy in place and keep abreast of the latest trends.
