For the most part, gamers tend to like tablet gaming experiences. Specifically,\u003c/p\u003e\n\u003cblockquote\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eNearly half of iOS game players preferred the iPad, with the rest split fairly evenly between the iPhone and iPod Touch.\u003c/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eGoogle Play game players generally favoured smartphones, with a much smaller proportion preferring Android tablets.\u003c/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn fact, when it comes to tablets, Amazon’s Kindle Fire was preferred over Android devices with Google Play support.\u003c/p\u003e\n\u003c/blockquote\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA number of mobile gamers play on multiple platforms.\u003c/p\u003e\n\u003cblockquote\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eInterestingly enough, around 20 percent of iPad gamers also used the Amazon Kindle Fire (more than who used Android smartphones), with some even playing games on Android tablets with Google Play – indicating multi-tablet use.\u003c/p\u003e\n\u003c/blockquote\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAnd it’s just not children who are playing games on mobile devices.\u003c/p\u003e\n\u003cblockquote\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe average smartphone game player was 41 years old in June 2013, with 53 per cent of the user base female.\u003c/p\u003e\n\u003c/blockquote\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eGovernment agencies have been targeting mobile game players. \u003ca href=\"/preview/gsa/digitalgov.gov/cms/news/2024/07/2024-07-02-case-study-increasing-access-to-required-bankruptcy-meetings/2013/10/31/new-outbreaks-but-no-zombies-on-cdcs-solve-the-outbreak/\"\u003eCDC’s Solve the Outbreak\u003c/a\u003e iPad app is a highly successful example and you can read about their strategy here.\u003c/p\u003e\n"}
