Evan Ray is a Research Assistant Professor of Biostatistics at University of Massachusetts Amherst, where he received his PhD in statistics, developing methods to infer physical activity type and intensity from accelerometer data. A former postdoctoral in the Reich Lab at University of Massachusetts Amherst, he also works on developing methods for predicting infectious disease outbreaks.
