Product lessons from the front lines of COVID-19 civic tech response

Likhitha Patha served as a Presidential Innovation Fellow from October 2019 - October 2020 and is an advocate for civic technology. During her year in the government, she led efforts in two areas: advancing the adoption of telehealth services during COVID-19 pandemic detailed to the Department of Health and Human Services and scaling identity management for the American public detailed to the General Services Administration. Prior to government, Likhitha worked in product and technical program management (TPM) roles at Amazon and Microsoft. She received a 12-month sabbatical (leave of absence) while working as a Senior TPM at Amazon Alexa AI prior to starting her tour of duty.
