Join the U.S. Web Design System team for a lesson on customizing and extending USWDS. You’ll learn how to build new components that look and feel consistent with existing components.

You’ll learn to:

  • Work with design system settings
  • Apply tokens consistently with Sass functions and mixins
  • Avoid style conflicts when overriding defaults
  • Use tools for ensuring proper color contrast in every context

This event is best suited for: Developers who have basic to advanced familiarity with the design system.
