The new app, which draws from the Census Bureau’s American Community Survey, aims to raise statistical literacy about the U.S. population.\u003c/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eCensus PoP Quiz provides an introduction to the statistics that define our growing, changing nation and is a great way for everyone to learn facts about all 50 states, the District of Columbia and the nation in a fun, relevant way.\u003c/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWith each state challenge completed, users will earn a badge to show their knowledge of various state demographic characteristics. After earning badges from every state, the app will unlock the final U.S. challenge. Throughout the quiz, players can share their badges on social media sites including \u003ca href=\"https://www.facebook.com/uscensusbureau\"\u003eFacebook\u003c/a\u003e and \u003ca href=\"https://twitter.com/uscensusbureau\"\u003eTwitter\u003c/a\u003e.\u003c/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe app is free and available for both \u003ca href=\"https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/census-pop-quiz/id894138858?mt=8\"\u003eiPhone\u003c/a\u003e and \u003ca href=\"https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=air.gov.census.phone.popquiz\"\u003eAndroid\u003c/a\u003e smartphones and tablets.
