Simultaneously, it hosts \u003ca href=\"https://www.loc.gov/events\"\u003ean active schedule\u003c/a\u003e of lectures, exhibits, concerts, classes—but with only 3,100 permanent staff, how does the Library do it all?\u003c/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOn the digital side, help comes from everyday folks who serve as virtual volunteers in the Library’s public crowdsourcing initiative, \u003ca href=\"https://crowd.loc.gov/\"\u003eBy the People\u003c/a\u003e.
