OIP launched the \u003c/span\u003e\u003ca href=\"https://www.justice.gov/oip/best-practices-workshop-series\"\u003e\u003cspan lang=\"EN\"\u003e\u003cu\u003eBest Practices Workshop\u003c/u\u003e\u003c/span\u003e\u003c/a\u003e \u003cspan lang=\"EN\"\u003eseries in 2014 as a way to share and leverage successes in Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) administration across the government. Each workshop in the series focuses on a specific topical area and includes a panel of representatives who share their success stories and strategies. For example, some of the topics covered in the first series of workshops included panels on reducing backlogs, proactive disclosures, and implementing technology in FOIA administration. The first workshop in June is also open to the public and will include a panelist from the requester community. Both workshops will be held at the Department of Justice’s Conference Center at 145 N Street, NE.
