(You may recall seeing these after certain disasters giving users the option to quickly donate to Red Cross or other organizations).\u003c/p\u003e\n\u003cdiv class=\"image\"\u003e\n  \u003cimg\n    src=\"https://s3.amazonaws.com/digitalgov/_legacy-img/2016/01/600-x-226-FB-voter-reg-for-SC.jpg\"\n    alt=\"A voter registration reminder message for South Carolina users of Facebook.\"/\u003e\u003c/div\u003e\n\n\n\u003cp\u003eWe piloted the voter registration megaphone in South Carolina on January 15.\u003c/p\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eThe megaphone was up for 24 hours.\u003c/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eIt generated about 25K visitors.\u003c/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eAbout 75 percent of those people either downloaded a registration form to fill out or went directly to their state’s website to register.\u003c/li\u003e\n\u003c/ul\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOn January 25, the megaphone rolled out in Texas, Georgia, Arkansas and Tennessee. We’re still working on collecting all the data from this roll out, but here’s some preliminary information.\u003c/p\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\u003ca href=\"https://vote.usa.gov/\"\u003eVote.USA.gov\u003c/a\u003e climbed to the #2 spot on the \u003ca href=\"https://analytics.usa.gov/\"\u003eanalytics.usa.gov\u003c/a\u003e dashboard of most viewed government websites.\u003c/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eFacebook sent about 250K people to the site.\u003c/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eAbout 120K people either downloaded a registration form or went directly to their state’s website to register.\u003c/li\u003e\n\u003c/ul\u003e\n\u003cdiv class=\"image\"\u003e\n  \u003cimg\n    src=\"https://s3.amazonaws.com/digitalgov/_legacy-img/2016/01/600-x-450-Screen-capture-of-Vote-USA-gov-voter-registration-website.jpg\"\n    alt=\"Screen capture of the Vote dot USA dot gov voter registration website.\"/\u003e\u003c/div\u003e\n\n\n\u003cp\u003eWe noticed that the conversion rate was lower in the second set of states, and we’re still digging into that data to see if we can figure out why.\u003c/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis partnership is just one part of our year-long campaign, known as #VoteUSA, to help Americans actively take part in our democracy through voting.
