Just 24 hours after going on sale last Friday, the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus broke prior Apple presale records with 4 million units purchased.\u003c/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eReading these stats I couldn’t help but ask, “Are we at a mobile tipping point?”\u003c/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAccording to \u003ca href=\"http://www.cio.com/article/2369831/mobile/are-you-ready-for-an-all-mobile-world.html\"\u003eCIO Magazine\u003c/a\u003e, the answer is yes. In fact, it is estimated that mobile devices will outnumber humans sometime in 2017. So, what might this mobile-driven world look like?\u003c/p\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eMore people will be connected.\u003c/strong\u003e Many individuals will make their first-ever connections to the mobile world, including users from developing countries in the Asia Pacific region, the Middle East and Africa.\u003c/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eUse of multiple devices will rise.\u003c/strong\u003e A large number of mobile users, possibly more than half, will connect to the Web via more than one mobile device.\u003c/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eLaptops will lose popularity.\u003c/strong\u003e Mobile users will transition to devices they can carry and use wherever they are.\u003c/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eVideo watching will increase.\u003c/strong\u003e Video accounted for 53% of mobile traffic last year and will reach 69% by 2018.\u003c/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eMore bandwidth, please.\u003c/strong\u003e A stronger, more robust, faster, and more responsive infrastructure will be needed to support this increased mobility.\u003c/li\u003e\n\u003c/ul\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA new mobile world is just around the corner.
