It provides visitors with a handheld map and customizable tour plans based on the length of your visit. Using your device’s geolocation capabilities and camera, the app uses augmented reality to identify the landmarks around you.\u003c/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eIf you are visiting overseas, \u003ca href=\"http://www.abmc.gov/multimedia?field_monument_war_tid=All\u0026amp;type%5B%5D=mobile_app\"\u003ePointe du Hoc\u003c/a\u003e, the mobile app from the American Battle Monuments Commission, provides the history of this World War II D-Day landing site in France.
