Disruptive technologies are those that have the potential to disrupt the status quo, alter the way people live and work, rearrange \u0026#8220;value pools\u0026#8221; and lead to entirely new products and services, the report says.\n\u003c/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\n  Out of the 12 potentially disruptive technologies, the report outlines these as the ones that government should be paying the most attention to:\n\u003c/p\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\n  Mobile Internet \u0026#8211; Enabling more efficient delivery of many services and creating opportunities to increase workforce productivity\n\u003c/p\u003e\n\u003c/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\n  Automation of Knowledge Work \u0026#8211; Answering unstructured questions so employees or customers without specialized training can get information on their own\n\u003c/p\u003e\n\u003c/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\n  Internet of Things \u0026#8211; Allowing businesses and public-sector orgs to manage assets, optimize performance \u0026 create new business models\n\u003c/p\u003e\n\u003c/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\n  Cloud Technology \u0026#8211; Improving the economics of IT for companies and government \u0026 provide greater flexibility \u0026 responsiveness\n\u003c/p\u003e\n\u003c/li\u003e\n\u003c/ul\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\n  Although 2025 sounds like a long way off, the report says the burden will be on government to create an environment where “citizens can continue to prosper,” as these technologies disrupt their lives.\n\u003c/p\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003e\n\u003c/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003e\n\u003c/div\u003e"}
