It includes [digital metrics guidance and best practices](/preview/gsa/digitalgov.gov/bc-archive-content-3/guides/dap/\u0026quot;Digital Metrics for Federal Agencies\u0026quot;), \u003ca href=\"https://digital.gov/resources/\" title=\"DigitalGov University\"\u003etraining\u003c/a\u003e and a federal-wide Web analytics tool and support. We are rolling out the code for the tool to all agencies now. \u003ca href=\"/preview/gsa/digitalgov.gov/bc-archive-content-3/guides/dap/\" title=\"DAP: Digital Analytics Program\"\u003eSee more on the Digital Analytics Program\u003c/a\u003e and supercharge your analytics.\u003c/p\u003e\n\u003c/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eOpen Content Management\u003c/strong\u003e. To support infrastructure and content needs across the federal government, we developed a CMS toolkit with resources to help agencies choose, design and migrate to a content management system (CMS). A CMS not only helps agencies efficiently manage their online content, but also can help them move to an open content model, making it easier for people to find, share, use, and re-use government information.  And, for agencies who need a government policy-compliant platform and hosting solution, we’ve alpha launched \u003ca href=\"https://sites.usa.gov/\"\u003esites.usa.gov, an enterprise-ready CMS service in the cloud\u003c/a\u003e. We’re happy to \u003ca href=\"https://sites.usa.gov/\"\u003ehelp you get started\u003c/a\u003e.\u003c/p\u003e\n\u003c/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eAPI Resources\u003c/strong\u003e. APIs have been called the “secret sauce” for digital services. They help open information (content and data) so it can be reused inside and outside of government. We’re helping agencies build out APIs by building out knowledge. Agencies can \u003ca href=\"/preview/gsa/digitalgov.gov/bc-archive-content-3/2013/04/30/apis-in-government/\" title=\"APIs in Government\"\u003euse the API Toolkit\u003c/a\u003e to learn API basics and see examples of APIs in government. We’ve also sponsored a six-part (and growing) API webinar series.\u003c/p\u003e\n\u003c/li\u003e\n\u003c/ol\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBut much more important than the parts, is how this is working together to improve the service that government provides. Agencies are working on building out APIs and developer resources, like \u003ca href=\"http://developer.dol.gov/\"\u003eDepartment of Labor\u003c/a\u003e and the \u003ca href=\"http://www.hhs.gov/developer\"\u003eDepartment of Health and Human Services\u003c/a\u003e. They are making services available via mobile like solutions being offered by \u003ca href=\"http://howtomobile.apps.gov/2012/11/30/usdas-soil-web-app/\"\u003eUSDA\u003c/a\u003e and the \u003ca href=\"http://howtomobile.apps.gov/2012/11/15/presidential-documents-mobile-web-app/\"\u003eGovernment Printing Office\u003c/a\u003e.
